What the masthead shows
The masthead dates the issue No. 32, July 1928. Its Crimean Tatar is set in the Latin new alphabet, with a Russian panel in Cyrillic. Two slogans run above the title: a call for the workers of the world to unite, and a line attributed to Lenin declaring that the new alphabet is the revolution in the East. The front-page photograph is captioned as blast furnaces nos. 1 and 2 of the Kerch metallurgical works.

Inside the issue
The eight pages carry an illustrated article on the Kerch works, a translated story signed M. Gorki, serialised fiction, illustrated verse, an editorial on what kind of journal Köz Ajdƅn should be, and a page of quizzes and puzzles. The colophon names the Crimean Central New Alphabet Committee as publisher and gives a print run of 2,000. Each page's own record below describes it.
