Privacy Policy

How ODFFU collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us.

Last updated: August 16, 2026.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, mailing address, and phone number, when you sign up for the newsletter, apply for membership, submit a volunteer or advocacy form, or contact us. Donation and payment information is collected and processed by our approved third-party donation platform, not by this website.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to process membership applications, respond to inquiries, send the national newsletter and advocacy alerts you sign up for, and support ODFFU's programs. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of information

ODFFU does not share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate the organization (for example, a donation platform processing a gift you make), to comply with the law, or with your consent. We do not publish member directories, personal contact information, or private correspondence.

Your choices

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter or advocacy communications at any time using the link in any email, or by contacting privacy@odffu.us. You may request a copy of the information we hold about you or ask us to delete it, subject to records we are required to keep.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information submitted through this site. Access is limited to authorized personnel who need it to operate ODFFU programs and services.
